That is a work of art. Did the syrah sorbet taste like a sweet wine?

The jelly tasted like sweet wine; the sorbet was more fruity.

Very pretty but not for me. I’m a cake gal! ๐ ๐

I like to have my cake and icecream too ๐. Actually I almost never have dessert, but this looked good to both the Big T and I so we shared.

I do have a bit of a sweet tooth, but almost never eat desserts, especially in restaurants. This one was just too delicious-sounding to pass up.

I won’t tell you how good it tasted then. Or mention the main course I had first.
I think this weekend I may have undone all the good work of going to the gym. But it was the Big T’s birthday and we did go away for the night to a place that is pretty much food and wine heaven. ๐

You actually don’t need to tell me – I can see it! ๐
I started drinking my coffee without sugar now which is surprisingly not as bad as I was anticipating. A couple of years ago I could literally eat and drink anything I liked without it having an effect to my weight, but sadly these days seem to have gone… I try to tell myself that a real coffee connoisseur would never dare drink his or her coffee other as black anyway, and what a coincidence that I’m planning on becoming one myself. ๐ LOL!

Hehe. I guess I’ll never be a connoisseur. I can only drink coffee with milk. Not sugar though, never sugar ๐ฆ

I’m still taking milk with my coffee too and don’t feel like giving it up yet. ๐

Oh, stoppit! What with you and Jo showing tempting treats I shall never lose the weight I need to! Puddings are out of the question for us for a while, but I must say this does look delicious.

It was good. And not too heavy. All the components were really tasty, so we didnโt need much of them. T and I shared this, and it was perfect for two.

The wine gums appeal to me ๐

Perfect! That’s exactly what they were. I wonder how hard it would be to make proper grown-up wine gums — with wine? Hm … off to do some research.
