A short walk in the park

I’m a fairly regular visitor to Pah Homestead in Auckland because it houses a fantastic collection of New Zealand art which I never tire of seeing.

The house was built in the late 1870s as a private home, with extensive and beautifully landscaped grounds. These are now owned by Auckland City and open as a public park. A park I’d never visited until today.

It was a bit too hot to explore much, so I think another visit is in order.
