I miss Auckland NZ as these were the exact sights I miss when I last visited my sister who lives there in Greenhithe. I remember how we tried to collect “clams” called “pi pi s” for something sounding like that. Small clams that were limited by law to pick from the beach. We did not get any as I was there in winter.

Wow, these look more like paintings than photographs. Amazing colors and composition. Was the sky really that golden color? Gorgeous!

I had an old camera, and somehow had it on a weird setting that brought out the reds and yellows. The sky was pretty golden to start with, and the camera kind of enhanced that.

Thank you. It was a happy accident. I had an old point and shoot camera on a strange setting, and the result was a bit surreal.
