I’m paraphrasing William Burroughs (Junky, 1953) in the post title, but it’s an apt description of my garden right now. Even the fig tree, which is still producing fruit, has no green leaves, and soon will have none at all.

Our grass is finally green again after the long dry summer β but the massive cracks in the ground are still really noticeable.

It took me a while to understand that the figs of next year are already formed tormed this year…. Fig trees are really special! Not only because of the bible, but also just BECAUSE!!!
