Sparrows are practically non existent where I live in France but are EVERYWHERE, literally and figuratively, in Switzerland. I do love them to bits, they are so enthusiastic and afraid of nothing…. In Switzerland there is no pretention, they would steal the crumbs from your bread even as long as you still hold it in your hand! They sit on the table next to you and look at you and your offerings with those shiny peaky brown and bright eyes, adorable!
