I like being able to see even the little bits of spider web and tiny water drops. I have days when I feel aimless as well. I’ve been thinking that I need to think of goals for this next season of my life, after we’ve moved and are in a new place. If I live as long as my parents (who are still alive), I’ll have another third or so of my life, so it behooves me to think what I’d like to do and accomplish. π
Thanks Janet. I understand what youβre saying. Both my parents are in their 80s and my mother in particular is very active in her community. They have a,ways seen service to others as a huge part of their lives, and I feel much the same.
I did think of that; but I’ve spent the day chasing elusive, name-changing ancestors instead. No real progress, but lots of new people in the tree to explore — one day!
Beautiful pic π
Some days it is good to just chill, as my children say π Aimlessness has its virtues. If you are aware you are feeling aimless that itself is so awesome.
I keep finding good things to do at home. Am currently down the rabbit hole of a ggg grandfather who used two names concurrently. No idea how he got one of them!! π€¨
Goals. Now there’s a thought. I need to set some as I have been drifting aimlessly since we moved to Cornwall and I am in danger of becoming even more reclusive! The garden has been my main project up to now, but perhaps it is time to put travel back on the agenda.
Along with Australia it is the only place I am interested in at the moment, but until I get this trapped nerve sorted there is no way I am flying anywhere.
Itβs still causing you pain? Iβm guessing youβve tried chiropractors and osteopaths? Iβve had success with both, but itβs so dependent on the individual practitioner.
Waiting for an appointment with the physio. I might try a chiropractor though as the pain is getting me down. Also I don’t like the numbness in my leg and foot.
Like out stretched hands, very nice Su.

Great photo definitely NOT captured by an aimless person. I really like your quote, Su!

Some days are just like that. Perhaps they are needed to unwind from those busier times?

That’s interesting, in a peeling the onion sort of way. π

Hehe; lovely analogy. Definitely more tears at inner layers, but also less penetrable.

Don’t we all have days—or even weeks or months—when we feel that way?

True. I was thinking about Jude’s comment and wondering if I’m becoming a bit reclusive too?

I worry about that as my tendency is just to hang out at home. So I try to be sure I get out for some activity at least once a day.

I totally understand that. The numbness sounds worrying. I really hope you can get help soon. π

I know the feeling, Su. Some days one simply doesn’t know what to do with oneself, right? Wonderful quote and photo!
