While I’ve been out tramping through neighbourhood drifts of crisp fallen leaves, the hibiscus at my gate has found its groove at last — sending up new leaves and flower buds.
Luckily, most are healthier and less chewed-on than this one.

☹️ I’m happy for them to eat the hibiscus and leave my food plants alone. If only it worked like that.

Looks like the Hungry Caterpillar came to visit! 😉 Strangely enough it was one of my favourite children’s books amd I made my mum read it to me a thousand times at least! 😂

I love that book. We read it to Tom countless times too, and have given copies to all the little kids we know. 😀
