By the time I got home from taking the Big T to the airport yesterday, my cough and runny nose were getting worse, and the aches and chills were beginning.
Today I’m on the couch with a box of tissues and a honey-lemon drink. My to-do list is on hold and I think I’ll be looking for joy in the small things for the next few days.

Thanks Lois. I’ve got lots of Vitamin C, etc and luckily, can have a couple of quiet days.

Sometimes the “to-do-list” should be put on hold! Rest up!

Thank you. I’m a bit grumpy because “I don’t get the flu” — but on the other hand, I do have a couple of good books. 😀

Ooh, I so get the crankiness with getting sick when ‘I don’t get sick’! But you have a great excuse to do nothing for the day. Take it with both hands!

I understand completely. I overdid it yesterday and today I can hardly move. I’ve been on the couch all day as well. Snuggle in, and at least try to enjoy the rest. 🤧💐

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. We say that this kind of cold goes on for a week if you see your doctor and is over in 7 days if you don’t….
Do you happen to know the name of this plant? (without getting eaten by the neighbours’ dog, this time – or picked up by the police….) because I think I have one of those growing in a potted plant and I’m quite sure it’s not something I have planted. Therefore it’s probably a weed but I’m still not sure….
Have a tea and have your hankies nearby. WE here hope to see spring/summer soon. It’s drizzling again but very high temps for June are predicted. I don’t know if this is good news or not….. We had a killer of a summer last year and half of my shrubs, plants and trees are dead because of a severe lack of water (and I DID water all the time – had record water bills!)

Hope you’re feeling better today, Su. My to-do list is on hold too but that’s only because I don’t feel like doing any of it. I’d rather play 😉
