Love this set-up; it’s actually what I like best about seagulls – from far enough not to be threatened or bothered by them …..

These guys are so used to people coming and going, and feeding on fish scraps from the boats — they are very brazen.

Aren’t they just. When I lived nr the sea in England, they even stole stuff directly from the hands of pic-nicking people and frightened the heck out of them and their children. They were not only brazen, they were awful and the locals called them flying vermin. In one fishing village nearby they were so incredibly large and mean looking that even I was afraid of them. BUT it was their cries, many moons earlier, which made us look for accommodation in that area, because every time we phoned I heard their screamings and the B&B owners’ dog barking at them…. 🙂 So, I shouldn’t be too dammning!
