Batten down the hatches

My phone has been pinging all day with wild weather alerts. It has been wet and windy here, but apparently over much of New Zealand high winds, lightening strikes and massive rainfalls have caused havoc.

There is more to come apparently.

  1. yes, that IS wild – and reminds me (fondly) of my time at the ‘soft’ sea of South Western England, when the waters broke across their shielding (not so) wall and swept over the street following the shore and ‘drowning’ a ‘holy ancient place’ the other side. So powerful and we tiny humans have nothing to say or add! Love it!
