Fallen hibiscus June 21, 2019 / Su Leslie Hibiscus flower. Image: Su Leslie 2019 I found this on the ground; pulled off by accident before it was fully opened. I’ve played a bit with the sharpness and contrast and added a filter or two for fun. Share this:TwitterFacebookPinterestEmailLike this:Like Loading... Related
Thanks; I was trying for something that might look like a proper botanical painting, but was happy with the result anyway. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I like the result too. Sometimes, we start with an idea but our creativity takes us somewhere else and then the artwork has a life of its own. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply
Absolutely lovely, Su. What photo editor do you use? Sounds like you have more tools available than I do. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I used Snapseed to sharpen and Stackables with a couple of their preset filters. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thanks! I’m not familiar with either of those editing tools, so I will look into them. Apps, I assume? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I do love them – but it happens quite often – the flowers sometimes are too heavy for their stems and they break too easily. Beautiful treatment LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thank so much. I was grateful to have rescued this from the pavement where it had fallen. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
