More complex than a star

“Our everyday world presents intellectual challenges just as daunting as those of the cosmos and the quantum, and that is where 99 per cent of scientists focus their efforts. Even the smallest insect, with its intricate structure, is far more complex than either an atom or a star.” — Martin Rees, Cosmologist and Astrophysicist

  1. So true! I actually love learning about both kinds of scientific discoveries – big ones about our cosmos etc and why a toast spread with marmelade always lands on the wrong side when dropped to the floor. 😄 And it’s always amazing how beautiful those common flies can look – and how much you can hate them the next second when it’s buzzing around your head! 😂
