Absolutely beautiful, Su! And you’ve captured the mist!!!!!! So far I have been unable to capture the fog as it creeps down the hills. Well, I’ve captured it, but my photos aren’t nearly as sharp as yours. Is the sharpness the camera, the lens, the settings or all three? And I enlarged it – it’s stunning!!
Hehe. It wasn’t insomniac early.sunrise is around 7.30 here at the moment so it was probably a bit before that. I was surprised the trout fishermen weren’t out.
Too early for them, but not you. Nice image.

It was lovely to watch, and I don’t think any of my photos quite captured it.

The things people will do for their art. Thank you, Su. Without intrepid photographers like you, I would never see such beautiful scenes.

Thanks Tracy; it really wasn’t a hardship to be in such a beautiful place. It was a bit cold though. 😬

🙂 It was so lovely and peaceful. I had a little moment of thinking “could I live in Turangi?”

On balance probably not. The town survives on tourism with all the issues that brings.
