You are right that I don’t have horses in the back yard, but the local pony club is only a 10 minute walk away from home.
And yet I hardly ever photograph the horses there.

another message i got was the white one (right) saying “Su, can you grab a quick photo of us – we never get any of us together in a shot”

Aww – I can never resist those beautiful eyes and soft noses! Did you have an apple for them? My great-grandfather always carried some apples with him in case he came along a horse, he really loved them! His children, my grandmother having been one of them, all got names you would give to a horse back then! 😄
No apples, though I suspect the horses associated humans with food given how quickly they arrived at the fence. I had only gone there to photograph the light on the hills behind them. 😀

That’s true. These two were determined to follow me along the fence-line. I suspect other visitors arrive with food.
