Yes. Rainy, windy and cold here. Wettest August on record, and looking like more of the same to come. Iโm getting lots done, but I am missing the beach. Will have to rug up and brave the wind before too long. ๐
Well Su, nine days ago I watched two women in swimsuits (not wetsuits) swimming at Freyberg Beach in Wellington Harbour. Soon we’ll both be back in the water no doubt.
That is impressive! I used to walk often on Narrow Neck Beach and there were maybe half a dozen regular year-round swimmers, including a couple who looked to be in their eighties (but were probably much older, they were so healthy),
Cheer up! It won’t be long now and then you can go back to the beach and enjoy its summer beauty! Here summer is having a little finale and then it will get rapidly cold I fear. We never really have autumn in these parts, like spring it’s a myth of days past…
I’d love to do the same thing, but as autumn, winter, spring, autumn, etc. What a shame we can’t send half of my summer to balance out your winter and vice versa.
Lovely beach Su.

Beautiful shot Su. It is cold and grey today in Sydney too. Although I should not complain. We need the rain here.

Thanks Aggie. We have needed the rain too; itโs been wonderful for my water tank and garden. ๐

Keep on dreaming, Su! It is wonderful to dream about sunny summer days at the beach. Cheer up! For your neck of the woods, it will be springtime soon.

I donโt think Iโd cope with so long away from the beach โน๏ธ

It’s not by choice believe me. I don’t either! But I must….. Whenever I visit my home town, I take a lake cruise to still some of my water-yearning.

The last time we went to that beach (a couple of weeks ago) it was blowing a gale and the car park was flooded. Roll on spring ๐

Blowing a gale I can understand!

Iโd hate if autumn disappeared here โ itโs my favourite season. So welcome after the summer heat ๐ฌ xxxx

I like it to, but could manage without winter. ๐ So, spring, summer, autumn, spring, Summer… you get the drift. ๐

Yes, a really shame! It would be the perfect solution. ๐

We need to find someone who can handle the weather with some magic spells for our global all.women team. ๐

Absolutely. Not sure how weโd recruit a weather witch though. ๐
