That was the idea…. their perfume is diminuished, their ´health’ less strong, but the joy over yet another blooming is all the more pronounced by this writer!
I’m glad a few of my shots turned out well. I had to resort to using a ladder to get a good angle on the blossom and it could so easily have ended badly — at least for my dignity and ego.

This is so delicate. Was it taken today? All my blossom is draped in raindrops today. We are back to winter chill and rain.

Yes; taken this morning. The rain began again yesterday, and looks set to remain for another week or so. Not too cold though.

While here the petals of my freshly cut roses fell all around me by the time I gathered them in a vase for my breakfast table.
