Itβs my new go-to spice mix. We have a great middle eastern grocery store nearby that sells it (amongst other yummy things). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Za%27atar
Thank you Lois. I think presentation matters too. T has got used to waiting while I βplateβ our meals (and photograph them). He actually bought me some chefβs tweezers to get those stubborn little bits of garnish in the right place. π
Oh, he is a keeper! That is too fun about the tweezers. Sometimes my husband will say, “You should take a picture of this.” But, at that point I am starved so…..no. π
Yum! That would be welcome at our table any night. Za-atar is quite good. We used to have a Middle Easter bakery/store near us that made small pizzas with that on it. So good.
Ooh! Pizza. That sounds really good. I stirred a little through toasted sunflower seeds as a topping for a broccoli salad the other night, and that worked too. It has become my new favourite flavouring. π
Another delicious looking meal, but what is zaβatar?

Hehe. You obviously snack less while cooking than I do.

Do you take reservations for your scrumptious dinners? I would like.a table please! If not, you are creating a cookbook, yes? Best, Babsje

I rather think I’d enjoy dining with you, Su. I could bring stuffed figs dipped in chocolate for dessert? π π
