I had the most amazing Irises too this year…. And quite a few Iris named friends 😉
They are proud blooms and this tearful one is wonderful.

I love the name Iris, but have only known two people with that name. The first was a family friend when I was a child, and the second is a colleague’s daughter. Probably a seventy year age gap between them!
