We probably won’t quite have home-grown plums on Christmas Day, but I don’t think we’ll be waiting too long.
And the tinsel — less a seasonal touch than an attempt to keep the birds from eating the fruit.

Thanks Susan. I always intend to do a Christmas Day beach shot, but no matter how sunny it can be here in the days before and after Xmas, the 25th is invariably grey and windy.

The tinsel really makes me smile, Su, and reminds me of the lengths we used to go to to keep squirrels from eating all the bird food. No homegrown fruit in our part of the world right now, although next year in a very different climate…

Hi – how cool the tinsel can keep them away – we used “cds” hanging for a couple of years and it worked well…
And almost time to enjoy the fruits – mmmm
