Luckily it’s only a 15 minute ride into the city. I didn’t know anyone on the boat; I just happened to be on the wharf as it was leaving.

I love them too. If I time it right, I can get from home to the city faster by ferry these days than either bus or driving.

I’d love to be able to travel by ferry, one thing I liked when my son lived in the northern suburbs in Sydney was that I could opt to take the ferry across to Manly and connect with a bus rather than the long-winded bus journey.

Ferries do seem much more exciting than buses, and definitely faster on places. Our semi-local service will soon be the fastest way into town if the roads get any more congested.

I was thinking the same about it not been a very nice day for a boat trip! 😂 But with only 15 minutes even I might have risked going without motion sickness pills. 😄 Lovely pics!
