This is a magnificent work of art Su, another place I must put on my NZ visit list. The son lives fairly close to the gardens, but I haven’t visited them for years.
Not my favourite botanic gardens — too big with too much empty space, but worth visiting. The sculpture exhibition is biennial, but the permanent art collection is good.

Wonderful! We found bees in our church bell tower and a had a local bee apiary collect them and now we have “Asbury Heavenly Honey”.

Fascinating! Art can make such powerful statement that sometimes words cannot.

I thought it the best work in the exhibition, and perfectly sited in the kitchen garden.

Love this sculpture! I’d love to do something similar with my class but it might be a bit too ambitious. 😕
