I have a plant like that but it isn’t growing everywhere. It’s been in the ground for about 20+ years I guess. I thought mine was called a pandorea or something like that
I find it a bit funny that many plants and flowers that aren’t native to an area and are crowding out native plants are so pretty or beautiful themselves.
It is. We really must include this bit of the country on our (increasingly long) road trip. I’m sure if we’d carried on along one stretch of road we’d have found a beach.
Very lovely Su, even if it is invasive.

It is! I was tempted to take a cutting of the plant we found (not knowing what it was), but am glad I didn’t now.

True, and I’m already fighting a losing battle against a few other invasive species.

Sometimes I just let them take over. I have a ton of Lily of the Valley. Maybe that’s why I paint them so often…

Just googled Pandorea, and they do look really similar. Yours is much better behaved 🙂

I guess they wouldn’t have been introduced — or allowed to survive — if we didn’t find them attractive.

As long as we aren’t pursued by angry gods, ship-wrecked or imprisoned. Otherwise, sounds fine.

Pretty plant, invasive or not, so I can see why you were tempted!
