The potted chrysanthemum I was given late last year is beginning to flower again. Very welcome in a garden that’s otherwise fairly light on flowers.

Getting in close is the only way in which we notice all the finer details of a flower like the lovely twists and folds of these petals.

Thanks Leslie. I was a bit surprised to see the buds as the plant was in full flower last December when I was given it. But it’s a lovely bonus, so I’ll take that 😀

I often replant the potted ones and they do quite well….
