Brian at Bushboy’s World had the wonderful idea of posting the very last photo he’d taken each month — whatever it might be and whatever the quality.
He’s invited us to join him, so if you’d like to share your last photo of June 2020, here’s what to do:
- Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the month of June.
- No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
- You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
- Create a Pingback to Brian’s post or link in the comments
- Tag “The Last Photo”

Great idea to photo your plants Su 🙂 Thanks for joining in my bit of fun. I had a Galangal plant in an jar on my kitchen windowsill for lots of years. Last weekend my bestie decided it needed planting in a new garden. They love living in water. I was amazed that she managed to get it out of a Marmalade jar without breaking the jar, It is now in a happy spot in the garden

Ooh – I have never grown galangal but used to buy it occasionaly for making Thai food, back in the days when shopping was still a thing 😉

It’s really hard to buy here; and the nursery did a deal with I bought the ginger and turmeric plants. Not that I’m obsessed with Asian food or anything.

Galangal. Now that’s fancy.
PS. Su, I copied and pasted the last half of your post. I hope you don’t mind. I saved myself heaps of time.

Not at all. I cut and pasted from last month.
I hadn’t intended to buy the galangal plant — only turmeric and ginger, but the nursery had it and did a deal ….

Growing things make me happy. My husband just read online that scientists found seed in the tundra that dated 32,000 years ago. How about that??

I understand that. It would be very cool if the seeds are still viable

I love watching plants grow! My ginger sadly withered away last year after growing happily for about 2 months. 😂 Hope you’ll be more lucky!! 😀💕

My ginger is the least healthy of the tropical I bought. I’m hoping keeping it warm over winter will help

I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
