Does anyone have the same problem that I have? Masks go right under my eyes so I can’t see when I look down. I have come to the conclusion that my ears are in the wrong place 😂
I had to adjust the pattern I found to change the way it sat on my face. And I get on better with the kind that have elastic round the back, rather than looping over my ears. Who’d have thought they’d be so fiddly!
We weren’t first time around. But the latest advice is to wear one. Still a recommendation rather than a rule, and it’s being left up to individuals to decide on the situations. It’s become a bit of a political issue, with the conspiracy theorists and the “it’s a breach of my civil rights” brigade all suddenly becoming visible.
Why not? I have a tiger mask made by our younger daughter and I love wearing it (as much I love wearing any mask, of course.) She’s made us new ones as well of a different sort, so I’ll have some variety in my Covid life.
It’s fun to see all the different mask fabrics and designs. People have gotten very creative. And I also need to wear the kind that tie behind my head, not loop over my ears. Those loops tend to pull off my hearing aids…
We bought wine the other day and the young woman who served us had wine bottles on her mask! I thought that was real dedication to her job. I have one in suffragette colours, that’s my most adventurous one.
Hehe. A Dr Who fan friend posted a photo of herself in one printed with the Tardis. I’m wishing I still had some of the cool fabrics I used to sew stuff for the boy-child with.
It;s very odd. I can’t see the image you want us to see…..

And then you put your glasses on and things really get wonky! 😀

Luckily I don’t have to wear glasses unless I am driving!

I didn’t think you Antipodeans were having to wear masks?

And descending stairs wearing one is tricky? At last! Something in common, Jude 🙂 🙂

Well I only wear one in the supermarket which fortunately doesn’t include stairs, but yes, I guess that would be tricky.

I’m thinking of recent hotel experience. I had to hold on to the banister 🙂

Oh! Must admit having. To wear one does not entice me out. People come too close. Even those who aren’t wearing one 😕

I must get busy and make some of those. Right now I’m in the peach pie mode getting ready for winter.

It’s proving to be a great way to use up my fabric stash! No tigers in my collection though ☹️

Super impressive, Su. Has the Big T reserved the tractor mask?

Thanks Tracy. Yes, made especially for him. Fabric left over from a Lego bag I made for our toddler nephew.
