You could link this with Debbie’s One Word Sunday, which is colour (or color to me.) Reminds me how much I miss the farmer’s markets. Perhaps I’ll start going to one around here soon, suitably masked, of course.
Already Su? Well done…we’re having a return of summer for the last week. Temperatures are in the high teens to 20’C. The sun is shining like a blessing from above. If we could have a winter like this, I wouldn’t mind a bit.

I am so envious Su.
It is on occasions like this when I wish I had room for a vegetable patch (except that I would never be able to keep it alive & vibrant like yours!). Such beautiful colours.
Thank you. I’ve actually grown these in a plastic tub on the patio. I’m experimenting with wicking gardens, and the easiest/cheapest way to do that was to build one in a container.
Lovely color!

It must be a wonderful feeling to harvest the first red beets from the garden, SU.

I always think of beetroot + chocolate!
Are these destined for your virtual tea?!

I do sometimes make a beetroot-based brownie, but I am planning to roast these.
