Last image 2020: SD card. Su Leslie 2020
Last image 2020: phone.
Brian at Bushboy’s World had the fun idea of posting the last photo of each month, without editing or explanation.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card and/or last photo on your phone for the 30th November.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to Brian’s post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Ho ! – food, eh ? Whoever woulda thought ?

Very interesting light, caught them in the spotlight. Did you get the meal at/from Dante’s?

Thanks Brian. It really was lucky last. The second to last would have fitted with the phone image though 😂

It was. A picnic in the grounds of the museum, with a glass of wine.

It’s the first time we’ve done that — and had it as a picnic. That part was really good. No cooking — and no dishes 😀

Wedding photo?

Yes. It was a Sikh wedding and watching the guests arrive for the reception at the museum was an added treat. Such sumptuous, gorgeous outfits — while we were in shorts and t-shirts.

Sounds lovely. Sadly weddings here have been severely disrupted this year.

Yes; I was thinking at the time how lucky the bride and groom were. Then it occurred to me that they probably had relatives overseas who couldn’t make it. So much disruption. One of my Scottish cousins lost her best friend in early December and couldn’t go to his funeral.

They do seem to have large weddings / receptions – I saw one young Indian lady on the television, not sure what religion, but she was saying they would have 200+ relatives – aunts, uncles, cousins, cousins twice removed etc… so she had cancelled her wedding.

It is beautiful. And the reception was held on the top floor of the museum — which has fantastic views 😍

Pizza is a good way to either finish the old or start the new year Su.

Pizza’s almost always a good choice and as mentioned already, the light in the first photo is just perfect. Hard to beat luck sometimes, isn’t it? But you still had to be there, see the shot, and take it. 🙂 Welcome to 2021!
