Thank you. I hadn’t noticed that with the pins.
I made the pin cushion with a layer of steel wool in it to — apparently — help keep the pins sharp. I’ll let you know if it works next time I stab myself.
I cannot decide whether I prefer your landscape photography or your still-lifes. Fortunately I don’t have to. Another amazing shot and I love the colours of those pins!
Thank you Jude.
I’d like to be out taking landscape shots, but even though we’re out of our little lock-down I don’t think I’ll be going very far for a while yet.
I’m loving your local landscapes btw.
You are so talented, Su. A co-op to showcase your cooking/art/photography/craft work would be wonderful. Of course, timing right now is kind of crummy, but there have to be others who would love to offer their talent to others.
I haven’t been wearing dresses except when it get terribly hot here. I would be doing more sewing if I had more time Su. Also our older son moved back home and he has a lot of stuff which makes it difficult to find the space to sew.

I use a worktop in the kitchen to cut out patterns — it is an island, so I can work right around it. Oh to have a studio / she-shed where I can keep all my stuff together and work in the same space.
Having pins that are easily seen makes sewing (or whatever else you need pins for) so much better! And then you can also get a colorful photo out of them. Win-win. π
really like the layers – and the little tops of the pins – their colors – add some pizazz to this still life

I love those pins; they’re so much easier to see on a lot of fabrics

Great shot !!!
Do you have any idea why those pins with coloured ends go rusty quicker than other kinds ?
You don’t, eh ..?
Sighh ..

Thanks Su, local is going to have to suffice for a while yet. Not sure there are many other views I can take though.

Thank you Lois. I’m my own worst enemy when it comes to “going public” with my work.

I need a couple of new dresses. I haven’t sewn clothes much in the last few years, so it will be interesting to see how they turn out

I’m the same with dress-wearing. And it has been very hot here.
I understand the problem of making space to sew. I’ve taken over the dining room π

That’s where I keep my paints Su. I used to cut out patterns there. It’s nice to have a big surface to do that…
