Brian at Bushboy’s World had the fun idea of posting our last photo of each month, without editing or explanation.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card and/or last photo on your phone for the 30th November.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to Brian’s post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
No idea but I like it.

Hehe. An experiment in wearable art. Basically a feathered boot.

I’m with you, Lois!
At first glance I thought it was a cockatoo! But then at closer inspection, spotted the print …
A decorated boot you can wear – I would love to see it in its entirety, Su!

It’s very experimental, but I hope to get some shots of the finished product.

A feather/collage boot. I know, daft, but I’m experimenting with stuff for a wearable art project. And it happened to be the last shot on the card. 🙂

Did the dog try a selfie?

Your dog has feathers?

I didn’t see feathers — just fur!

Defy Brian!!!! Oh, ok.
It’s a wearable art project/experiment. Cuban-heeled boot collaged with text and beads and feathers.
As you do!

It’s a boot covered in collaged texty bits, beads and feathers. Wearable art darling … or another sign of madness.

Mine is even weirder than yours! I considered not publishing it and posting the photo before that, but then I remembered that yours was strange too, so I did!

Looks like something from a Dr. Seuss book, which a feathered boot might be. Or perhaps it’s one of Bartholomew Cubbins’ 500 hats. 🙂

This is so good Su. Look at all the comments it engendered. Aren’t they wonderful. No explanation is one of the fun bits I think. Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂

I agree. If I weren’t so honest I’d engineer a “last shot” to be deliberately obscure precisely because it becomes a talking point.

I almost had an set-up last photo on my phone as I don’t use it that much and along come a Kombi in immaculate condition……

Very enigmatic. I found out what it is from reading the comments, but I’ve been trying to read the text – it’s an affliction.

It’s a line from a poem — Velvet Shoes, by Elinor Wylie. “… more beautiful than the breast of a gull”

Well thank goodness for the comments and your replies! I saw this as soon as you posted and was completely flummoxed. Something about gull feathers I thought, but decided to go and make dinner and wait until someone else had a guess!

Thank you for the line, it was hard to work out! Feathered boots wouldn’t have been much good to me on Friday!

I’m not sure weathered boots are much good to anyone but I’m loving the process of making.
