I’m planning some wearable art projects and want to make maquettes first. I couldn’t find a miniature dress form to buy, so I’m making one — as you do!
I actually had one of those forms, had to leave it behind in our old house…not enough room here. I often take clothes, that fit well, apart and use them for a pattern. It works well for me.

I do the same to make patterns. This is a miniature form, to try out wearable art projects before I commit to maki g them full-size
