I’m heading out of town next week, so this month’s virtual afternoon tea will be brought to you by wherever I’ve found the best cuppa (and cake?).
I’ll post as usual on Thursday 15th April; at around at 3pm-ish NZ time (GMT +12), but at this stage I’ve no idea where I’ll be or what will be on the menu.
I hope you can join me.
Are you going with the Big T ? – that’ll be fun ! 😀

NZ is a great country for road trips, so much choice. Will look forward to hearing all about it.

Isn’t it. This will be my first time down the Kapiti Coast (apart from the odd train trip to Wellington)

When I saw your post title I thought you were planning for us ALL to take a trip together. Maybe that’s too much to hope for in Time of Pandemic. But a virtual trip with you is the next best thing. Enjoy travelling!

Me too! I guess we are all chafing at the bit.

That’s a very pleasing composition of the teacup and little van 🙂 🙂 Have a great trip!

A road trip. I dream of taking a road trip 😍

I’ve been dreaming of this for months. I haven’t seen my dad in over a year.

I know the feeling. I have an 8 month old grandson I have yet to see, but until we can meet indoors there is no point in trying to meet up and we are only allowed to stay over from tomorrow anyway in self catering accommodation.

Oh, a road trip! How fun. What should I pack…

A raincoat. NZ is not called the Land of the Long White Cloud for nothing.

I have never heard that phrase before!

It’s traditionally thought to have originated in our Maori name — Aotearoa

Sounds like an adventure–I love it! Remind us all to pack light–there’ll be a lot of us travelling!!

Hehe. Yeah, gotta leave room in the boot for all the second-hand shop finds that are an essential part of my road-trips.

Sounds lovely, Su! As discussed, I’ll be staying around here this year, with other commitments. Have great fun! Will join in when I can. Bon voyage! 💕

I just had a tea out in my back yard–we are having unseasonably warm weather this Spring. I hope you get some lovely vistas to admire as you tour for tea!

I really like the photo set-up, Su, but I’m even happier you’re getting out again. Be safe and have fun. I’m going to Tucson the Saturday after your tea to meet a fellow blogger and we’re going to have tea at a new-to-me but cool tea house that serves only Chinese tea. I’m hoping to take photos there and share even if it’s later.

Sounds lovely. I’d say enjoy, but I’m a bit late. Have been in bed with stomach bug… ugh.
