Being efficient today, I’m bringing you two-for-one. Jude’s monthly Life in Colour project is all about pink this month. A perfect excuse for a pink-themed Friday Flowers post.

Once again, I’m taking inspiration from Tracy (at Reflections of an Untidy Mind), and bringing you some music as well.
I love this lock-down version of Don’t Dream it’s Over with the new Crowded House line-up — and not just for bassist Nick Seymour in his pyjamas.
Nice jamas π π

I love the Montana, weβve had a couple, and my goodness, do they spread?!

Don’t they! This one is my neighbour’s and I have to keep snipping away at it to protect my fruit trees. But I do love having the flowers decorating my fence.

Beautiful pinks and I still desire that hydrangea! Love the twisty hibiscus shot.

Will try to remember and ask the step-ma if she remembers what variety it is.

At some stage do let me know the identity of that truly glorious blossom at the very top of the list, please, Su ?

Just out of my sick-bed π¦ and hoping to be fully better by the time I leave on the roadie.
I’m wondering if the captions aren’t visible on the post. I can see them; but with WP that means nothing. The top flower is my neighbour’s clematis.

Some of my daddy’s favorite flowers, Su. Fun fact: my oldest son when he was a baby (now 27) would only fall asleep to the original version of this song. Thankfully, I love it so I was happy to hear it on repeat.

That is such a lovely story. For my son it was the Counting Crows album, August and Everything After. We went to a Counting Crows gig when I was pregnant, and I wondered if that influenced him.

I love Counting Crows. I’m sure he was rocking out in his own little world!

I love the angle of the first flower and the song was a classic I always enjoy! Filmed great too!
