That’s a blessing. My handy man is handy with all things tech, not so much with other things. But he’s a keeper anyway and not as unsuccessful with handyman work as he thinks. π
Mine drives a computer for work, so is pretty tech-savvy too. But making things is his real love. I totally get the sheer joy of creating something tangible and useful (baking counts, right?). Cheers, Su.
Ditto here! It’s wonderful to have someone who can fix things. Not the only reason I chose him of course….

Hehe. Me neither! Actually, apart from re-building motorbikes, he kept his fixing-things talents quite well hidden for a while.

My dad was the same; albeit a little faster to get things done. My son … not so much.

Ooohhh, a bit jealous. My fella is great with the kids and loves fun but not so handy. π

I think mine regrets being so competent sometimes. He’d have much more time for fun if we had to get someone else to do all the DIY!
