Brian at Bushboy’s World invited me to join him and other bloggers posting a travel photo a day for ten days.
The deal is I also invite someone else each day to join in, and have them ping-back to my post.
I know how busy many of your blog schedules are, so I am always a bit loathe to nominate people.
But … many of you have travelled much more than me and have wonderful archives to dip in to …and I do really enjoy seeing the world through your eyes.
So if there is anyone in our blogging whanau who hasn’t already been shoulder-tapped and would like to join in … please do.
This looks almost British … but not quite?

I would have guess somewhere in suburban UK as well …
Love the rounded walls … I wonder if they are rounded inside as well …. do you get curved window seats?

The only place in the UK I saw wooden houses was Kent, and they tended to be smaller, rural cottages.
And yes, I have seen curved window seats. A friend who used to own an Art Deco house had a beautiful one in her living room.

I would love to have a house with those rounded windows. Something about them…..!

Aren’t they fabulous! There are quite a few Art Deco style houses in NZ with the rounded windows and I have hankered after one for a long time. I recognise that they are madly impractical to live in, but I’m allowed to dream 🙂

I lov those buildings, but many are simply fake facades!

I believe similar to the Georgian facades over medieval buildings here. A Victorian makeover.

Wonderful architecture, Art Deco?

I suspect older; Edwardian or late Victorian maybe?
