I saw this in Junk and Disorderly and couldn’t resist photographing it. I’ve been wondering what to do with the photo. This week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge seems a perfect fit.

The field of advertising… in all its forms… offers so much insight into our cultures. Although sometimes annoying… it is none the less fascinating. And… from personal experience… it can sometimes be very effective. You have selected an excellent and unique perspective of the “pure” topic. Very well done!

Thanks so much. I worked in advertising as a copywriter a long time ago. I miss the buzz, but am a much happier person these days.

Isn’t it a lovely juxtaposition. Junk and Disorderly is something of an institution; home to the truly weird and often wonderful.
