I just commented on your photo — it’s a MUCH better version of one I took yesterday too. Interesting that the flowers were out and attracting bees in different hemispheres.
I’ve had really good luck with them but my front porch has several areas that are in full shade all day. They do really well there as long as the snails don’t get to them. Last year was the craziest year for snails I have ever seen. I’m hoping this year will be better. I’m pretty busy so if I can grow them successfully, I think it’s pretty safe to say that you don’t need any gardening talent to help them flourish. π
Love them!
I have some fuchsias with purple petals.

This shot was taken in July, Su, so different times of the year as well as different years. π

That crossed my slow, coffee-lacking mind after I’d sent the comment. DOH!

I’ve killed every Fuschia I have ever owned. Glad to see one alive and blooming.

These were in a public garden luckily. My track record with flowers generally isn’t great.

Fuschias are among my most favorite flowers. I always plant some on my front porch in the widow box. So pretty!

I’ve never grown them, but should. They are a real favourite of mine too.

Thanks for that. I have a shady area on my porch that might work. π
