Many years ago we had them growing in our backyard, and we thought they WERE weeds until a friend pointed out that they were ferns and we could cook them. (We didn’t.)
π I get that. When I look now, it reminds me of a thing my son had when he was little which involved “digging” a little plastic dinosaur skeleton out of a block of sandy stuff with tiny tools. Archaeology for kindergarteners!!!
