Thanks Jude. My dad’s 86 and quite frail, so every visit to him is very special. And Whanganui is a place I really like, which is a bonus.

Thanks Janet; spent today helping our son clean his old flat. His housemates have disappeared and it was a bit of a mess. Very hot and humid today, so it was exhausting. I’m planning to relax tomorrow 😀

Hehe. The big T wanted to look at some land for sale, so we ended up taking a mini road-trip — in pouring rain. More fun than it sounds, but we aren’t going to buy the land.

No, we don’t have a long a driveway. My husband and son do it. If it were up to me, I’d leave it there until spring.
