Lovely. It always makes me smile to see a Friday post when we’re still back in Thursday. I know why, but it still amuses and sort of amazes me. Same thing with the flip-flopped seasons.
I feel the same way — about the seasons. I don’t notice the time difference thing so much because we’re ahead. It totally dies my head in when I want to call the US or Canada though. My brain doesn’t seem to process a time difference bigger than 12 hours. 😂😂
Su they are rodents but are rather cute with long busy tails. Their moment is very graceful and they can climb up anywhere especially if there is food there. I’ve seen them climb the sunflower and take the seeds out of the centre. Try this video.

What a very lovely gift. I’m just thinking it will soon be time to sow some seeds. I have some very frilly sunflowers in mind for this year.

They really are pretty Su. Have you ever seen a squirrel climb up and eat the seeds from the centre?

I haven’t seen that 🙁 We don’t have squirrels in New Zealand

They can eat up bird seed like there’s no tomorrow. Some people don’t like them but they really are cute.

Such lovely texture again. My bright yellow morning comes from the daffodils in bloom now. Such a cheery and welcoming sight.

I always associate then with the month of March, but things do seem to be a little earlier here.
