Probably for different reasons, in a way I admire your DIY skills more than your degrees! I know how to get a degree, but I could never muster up the skill and dedication to refurbish that furniture. We do have a couple of things (a small table and a small chest of drawers) that John kept from his mother’s house and sanded an restained. He is the practical one.
One of my favourite colours (the teal) and looking good, but yes definitely need new blinds now! Plantation shutters would look good in that room. Or white wooden slatted blind. But I guess you will be going for fabric 🙂

I think definitely replace. We’re looking at replacing a lot of our curtains and blinds with much simpler, off-white fabrics.

Thanks Jude. We have white wooden blinds in other rooms, so perhaps. The fabric blinds tend to be warmer in winter though.
