Brian at Bushboy’s World invited me to join him and other bloggers posting a travel photo a day for ten days.
The deal is I also invite someone else each day to join in, and ping-back to my post.
I know how busy many of your blog schedules are, so I am always a bit loathe to nominate people.
But … many of you have travelled much more than me and have wonderful archives to dip in to …and I do really enjoy seeing the world through your eyes.
So, Anabel (The Glasgow Gallivanter), if you feel like it and have time, I’m inviting you today.
And since this week’s One Word Sunday is History — I’m sharing the image to Debbie’s challenge too.
Wow Su….just wow

Thanks Margaret. It was a serendipitous find; a very small Perthshire village I knew ancestors of mine came from. I didn’t really expect to find a family headstone as they were all very worn and hard to read, but, wonderfully, I found some 4x great grandparents

Oh wow! That must have made your visit complete.

Very much so. The headstone had been paid for by a son, so I was also able to find out about a whole new branch of the family.

I love the atmosphere you created in this photo and nicely done for hitting two challenges at once.

Beautiful! I’m tied up with my Advent Calendar at the moment, so I’ll pass this time, but thank you for thinking of me.
