Sometimes a moment is so perfect, you have to stop what you are doing and appreciate it. Last Friday night the Big T and I were driving along beside Lake Rotorua when I saw these amazing shafts of light. The Big T obligingly pulled over so that I could take some photos.
This image speaks so much to me of how nature constantly presents us with jaw-dropping beauty; it’s up to us to open our eyes to it.

You know that I know just what you mean, Su, having had that same feeling yesterday morning in the snowy park. π How wonderful that there was somewhere to pull over to get the shot!

Magnificently inspirational…as Janet and you I’ve had such moments, and sometimes it works to be able to capture the captivating scene and sometimes one’s memory has to do. Your image is one of those blue-moon moments. Happy Photo Challenge.

Because of my childhood catechism, I still think of sunlight like that ‘grace from heaven’. Beautiful β€

This is way beyond beautiful! I can totally understand why you had to stop, I’d also have done even without a camera at hand π Cheers to the Big T for letting you do your wonderful art! π

Thank you Sarah. He’s very good at finding safe places to stop the car so I can get out with my camera. Years of experience I guess π
