Hehe. Maybe not a show. As my friends will tell you, I talk with my hands and tend to wave my arms around when excited. I think I could reduce a TV kitchen to utter chaos in minutes. π
Haha! Exactly the same over here! My hands seems to have a life of their own π Even my french friends (usually the french seem to be known to be very expressive whilst talking π ) mock me about it π So, I would definitely watch that TV show of yours π But a book would be lovely, too. Either you or your son could also do the pictures!!
ThatΒ΄s a very cruel thing to demand! Like trying to change the very essence of you, How could she/he?! Why are there so many bad teachers than good ones?
I agree that there are way too many bad teachers around, but surprisingly, that particular one was one of the good guys. I think he was trying to help me develop the intensity of my language. He was my English teacher, and the first person who took it for granted that I would be a writer as an adult. He’s also the person who introduced me to Hemmingway, Steinbeck and Pasternak.
Well, that sounds encouraging then! π I guess teachers are like everybody else: they have their good and their bad sides π I always found it amazing that a good teacher could make me interested in things I didnΒ΄t even really like, like maths for example π
Wow! You definitely should have your own cooking show! Or book! π

I had a teacher who made me sit on my hands while I was talking. It was terrible.

… and conversely a bad teacher can ruin subjects you love. Given how powerful teachers can be in young people’s lives it terrifies me that my country has such a blasΓ© attitude to teacher recruitment and training.

Nom nom nom. I can almost taste that as I’m reading. How do you make the poppyseed dressing?

π I’m just trying to figure out if it’s a vinaigrette with seeds, or more of a tahini-type dressing. I so love the idea of it!

It wasn’t a vinaigrette. It was creamy, a little sweet (which went perfectly with the kale) … and delicious π

It’s one of those “three good things” combinations that work so well.
