Isn’t it! And incredibly comfortable. I’m itching to pull it apart, sand and re-varnish the wood and upholster in new fabric. The wooden bits I’m fine with, but upholstery is all new to me 🙂

I’ve ordered a bunch of books on upholstery from the library and can’t wait to get started. I know there are resources online too, but I am so old-school in how I learn.
Thanks Cathy. I’m a complete novice, but I figured if I deconstruct the existing upholstery, and to a test run with calico it should be ok. Good luck with yours 🙂

I have a few old chairs (not refurbished by myself) but they are so comfortable!!!. Don’t forget to show us an ‘after’ photo.

Sewing was never my forte (except for curtains and blinds which I excelled at ) but I can see the potential in this little beauty.
