Beautiful day indeed! There is not even a hint of winter in the bright and cheerful landscape photos.

We’ve been very lucky with the weather. Some rain today, but otherwise glorious.

Lovely photos, Su, reminding me of places mentioned by Greenwood in the Phryne Fisher books—updated!

I love those books — and the TV series which I binge-watched a couple of years ago. It was fun hearing familiar place names, and spotting the locations they used as they are now.

If that’s your winter Su, I think I could take it. It’s beautiful there.

Melbourne does get quite cold when the wind is blowing up from Antarctica. But we were so lucky to have sunshine and high temperatures while we were there.

I guess you aren’t into the depth of winter yet too.

What a lovely winter break you had and by all accounts Melbourne even gave you good weather.

Thanks Jude. It was great — almost constant sunshine and not too cold. 😀

Cold is OK if it is dry and sunny. I could cope with that sort of winter, unfortunately ours tend to be damp and grey.

Lovely photos, Su. I especially like the buildings and colors of the middle one of the harbor.
