Yesterday I discovered that my camera will shoot multiple exposures (and yeah, I am that person who doesn’t read the manual).
My bunch of tulips is rapidly turning to bare stems and a pile of petals, so I feel lucky to have this shot.

Thank you Sally. It’s the first time I’ve ever done a multiple exposure in-camera. 🙂

I’m pretty sure it will, Jude – a while since I did any, and I think I managed with the em5

Thanks Jude. I hope it does; I can easily imagine some of your flower shots as multiple exposures

I love this photo Su.
I am famous at work for never reading manuals – even for instruments worth more than my house. Me with a manual is a sign I am desperate because my usual approach of ‘pressing buttons at random until it does what I want’ has failed….

I totally get that Darren!
I have come to realise that my approach is inherently limiting because stuff will generally only do what I expect it to — I miss all the extras because I don’t know they exist and when I do find them during the push-button search, I write them off as “not what I’m looking for.”

Yep! I find myself taking ages to do things then find out there is a software shortcut😄

Someday I really have to take a look at my camera’s manual. I have so many questions 😉
“Delicate” is the perfect word to describe this photo.

Thanks Joanne.
I find that the only time I really take information in is when I need it. So manuals are only really useful to me to answer a specific question, and it can take ages for me to figure out what that question is. Sounds like you’ve got there already!

Well done! I’m the same way but now the manual doesn’t even come with the camera but online. I need to read mine, too. 🤭

I did get a little paper manual with my camera, but I suspect most information is online.

Lovely – I wonder if my camera does. Nobody reads the manual Su until we run into trouble. I even printed mine and still haven’t read it.
