Out of the freezer and into a sauce; some of last year’s habanero chilli harvest. Not as hot as some, but fiery enough for me.

They would be plenty hot enough for me even if I ate them straight from the freezer!

A great response to the fire theme, Su, and they look great like that. Almost too pretty to cook!

Another different take on the theme. Hurrah! I suspect those would me much too hot for me. I can’t handle a lot of spice, although my husband and our younger daughter certainly can.

They are pretty hot. Freezing them has had the unintended benefit of reducing the sizzle a bit, but I still use them sparingly (I was making a lot of sauce).

Looking good -though I won’t try eating them again! Once was enough! π

π¦ Putting them in the freezer took a little bit of the heat out.
