Thanks Susan. I always intend to do a Christmas Day beach shot, but no matter how sunny it can be here in the days before and after Xmas, the 25th is invariably grey and windy.
The tinsel really makes me smile, Su, and reminds me of the lengths we used to go to to keep squirrels from eating all the bird food. No homegrown fruit in our part of the world right now, although next year in a very different climate…
At any rate, a merry and blessed Christmas, both Eve and Day, to you and yours.
Hi – how cool the tinsel can keep them away – we used “cds” hanging for a couple of years and it worked well…
And almost time to enjoy the fruits – mmmm
THEY LOOK GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT SUE, CHINA

Agreed! A yummy treat best enjoyed by yourselves rather than wildlife, much as we appreciate them. π

And for me a really ‘far fetched’ idea as here in Europe Christmas really isn’t about ripening fruit! π

Thanks. I hope they ripen quickly, so Iβm not one of those people who still has Xmas decorations up long after the event π€£

I’s lovely to see ‘festive’ in a whole new light. I could get used to this!
