Very stylish Su. I’ve been making some aprons too. I’m always amazed at how dirty mine get. So if I didn’t wear one my clothes would be that dirty.

Looks great- and very inspiring! π It’s funny there are so many lovely aprons but I’ve never worn one. Even when painting and there it would make more sense than with cooking for me because my acrylics have a tendency to splatter around. π
Very well spend. If you had a few more drinks you’d never be able to fight your way out of that apron!

I have enough trouble sober; though more putting it on than taking it off.

Iβm the same. My favourite apron is so worn from being washed too often that I really needed a new one.

The lady at Fabricland told me her mother used to wear an old apron and quickly change to a spanking new, clean one when someone came to the door…

I think my Gran did the same. Even when I was a kid, women seemed to a,ways wear an apron around the house.

My mother was a business woman. She never wore an apron….she couldn’t cook….

My mother canβt cook either, which
was unfortunate when we were children and that was part of her role π

Didnβt work that way in our house; my brothers and I learned to cook!!

I learned to cook much later. I just wasn’t interested in food.

Very nice, even though it does look tricky to put on and take off. I need an apron, my t-shirts are constantly
splashedruined when cooking!LikeLiked by 2 people
Itβs easier than it looks (after the first couple of attempts). I have to wear an apron when Iβm cooking or Iβd have no decent clothes left.

I have so many tops ruined by cooking fat, or fruit juice β an apron is essential π
