I’m speechless, Su. You take so many beautiful photos, but I think this shot should definitely be in a frame on your desk so that you can look at the every day.
Thank you so much Tracy. I’m genuinely amazed at how positively people have responded to this photo. It’s been sitting in my “not really good enough” folder for a week or so.
Beautifully captured, Su!
But what originally caught my eye about this post is your title: Crépuscule au port
Crepuscular is a word I learnt this week from my Older Daughter – I thought is such a delicious word and I have been thinking on how I can work it into a poem. And here I see it proudly illuminating your post!
You know, after percolating this word for a couple of weeks, I actually heard it used in a talk (about Writing Creative Non-fiction!) when the speaker mentioned listening to the bird call of a particular crepuscular! I was thrilled to bits!
Great capture of the twilight hour with a French title!

Thank you Tish. You can see why “the golden hour” is so popular with painters (and photographers) 🙂

Isn’t it a great word. But I can’t marry it to the meaning in my head. I hear it and think of ageing and wrinkles.

That’s so cool. I don’t think I have ever heard anyone speak the word in a sentence. 😀
